These are some fun gifts that are very easy to make. I recently made them for some friends of mine who hosted a baby shower for me.
You will need:
bottle-cap pendants
key-chain rings
Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
regular Mod Podge
circular photos-- 2.5 cm diameter (according to the package)-- I used Photoshop to print mine
thick wire
pliers (round-nosed, flat-nosed, and clippers)
glass beads
So I want you to know that I'm not perfect and I often learn from mistakes... and I'm going to let you learn from my mistakes this time! I got a little impatient and skipped some steps and ended up with photos that were a little blurry and I don't want that to happen for you. So to get started, quickly paint a thin layer of regular Mod Podge on your photos so that they won't blur. Then glue your photos to the pendants (you can use Mod Podge to do this) and let it dry so the photos will stay put.
Next, fill the pendants with the Mod Podge Dimensional Magic (this stuff is SO awesome!).
The pendants need to dry overnight, until the Mod Podge is totally clear. The next step is to make the beaded bangle that attaches the bottle-cap to the keychain. To do this, use your round-tipped pliers to make a large loop close to the end of the wire.
Twist the end of the wire around the base of the loop to hold it securely.
Use the wire clippers to clip off the excess wire (just the short part sticking off the loop). Put the beads on the long part of the wire and then make another loop on the other side of the beads.
Wrap the end of the wire around the base of the loop and clip off the excess wire.
Now just slip it on your key-chain ring and you are done!

What a great idea! They are so cute.
Thanks!
Its great that you mentioned to clear coat the photos before you glue them in. I found this very important.
Always have to learn the hard way when I skip directions hehe
Thanks so much! Great idea! Great presents!
