For some reason my boy is crazy about blankets. Whenever I get one out he starts giggling and runs over to play with it.  He loves to play peekaboo and lay on soft blankets but one of his favorite activities is to make blanket forts!

We start by moving some furniture close together.

Then drape the blanket and stuff it between cushions so it will stay put (until he decides it's time to destroy the blanket fort).

He finds it utterly hilarous!

It's also fun to bring in other blankets, pillows, and toys to play with in the blanket fort!
