My little guy LOVES to go to the zoo. We have a season pass to the zoo and while there was nice weather this winter and spring we were going almost every week!
His favorite animals these days are giraffes, lions, and elephants and since he also loves to paint I decided to help him make paintings of his favorite animals!
If you like crafts for kids, you should check out my growing collection of alphabet crafts:

These are just adorable. I have Christmas Wreaths that I made with my kids many years ago and I still hang them up every year – and they are 28 and 25 now. These are the things I treasure.
Those are very cute ideas! I am pinning them on Pinterest! Thanks for sharing.
I can just imagine the children’s delight as they see these cute animals evolve out of their hand prints! Adorable!
love them so very cute and what a memory to keep come see us at http://shopannies.blogspot.com
This is such an adorable idea! I’ll be going to the zoo with my nephew soon- and I think this will be the perfect craft for the occasion. Thanks!
This is such a cute idea!!! I’ll have to borrow this idea for my 3 year old, she would love it! Actually my 8 and 7 year olds would too!
What a fun idea! I love doing finger and hand print crafts with my son. He’s too young for the hand prints because he just makes a mess, but I definitely want to do this when he gets a little older!
I’m the Editorial Assistant for Fun Family Crafts and I wanted to let you know that we have featured your handprint project! You can see it here:
