It was a rainy day (which has been rare around here) so I was stuck inside with a toddler and a newborn baby... time to think of something fun to do!

I pulled out some crayons and my roll of butcher paper, cut off a large piece and taped it to the ground (notice my adorable little audience).

I asked my son to lie down on the paper and stay still, which lasted for 1.5 seconds.

I decided it was better to trace one body part at a time instead of going for the whole body at once.

Once I got his whole body traced, I went back and touched up some areas and we started adding details like clothes and hair.

I asked him what he wanted to hold in his hand and he said a baseball.  I think he turned out pretty darn cute, but he doesn't hold a candle to the real deal.

I also ended up writing his name across the bottom since we are learning how to write his name.

Then to get even more mileage out of this project, I taped it to the door in his "big boy room" and we stuck stickers to it.

I'm sure we will spend more time sticking stickers to it for a while because this is a great activity I can help him do while nursing his baby brother!
