We had some sweet friends come over to do some "O" projects with us and we all had a blast!
We used paper plates to make these adorable owls:

Materials:
(to make 1 owl)
3 paper plates (I painted these with spray-paint)
colorful feathers
glue
scissors
colorful paper cut into circles (I used scalloped scissors), and triangles
2 large googly eyes

1.  Put glue on the front of one plate and cover it with feathers.

2.  Cut the next plate in half to make the wings, then cut a notch out of the top of the other plate to make the head.  Glue the wings and then the head onto the feathered plate.

3.  Glue the  eyes and beak onto the face.

Tip: we didn't want to wait for the glue to dry so we used some duct tape on the back of the owls to hold them together

After we made our owls we read some books about owls (check out my little casanova--- watch out girls!)

I just love how these owls turned out!
