You will need:
20 guage wire
2 earring hooks
4 round beads (with holes large enough for 2 wires to fit through)
6 teardrop-shaped beads
6 pin wires
assorted pliers and clippers
jewelry hammer and hammering block (optional)

 1.  Put the teardrop beads on the pin wires and make a loop at the top of each.

 2.  Cut a piece of wire about 6" long and make a loop in the center, and then one on either side.

3.  Put each end of the wire through opposite sides of a round bead and slide it down so it is centered over the loops (this requires a lot of scooting and bending to get it onto place).

4.  Thread the 2 ends of the wire through another round bead.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA5.  Make a loop with one of the ends of the wire, and twist the other end around the loop (then clip off the excess).

6.  Hammer the wire.  This is optional if you don't have the tools, but I like it because it makes the wire faceted and sparkly and also makes it stiffer.

7.  Attach the loops of the teardrop beads to the bottom loops of the earring, then attach the earring hook to the top loop.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERANow they are ready to wear--- unless you are like me and have a grabby 9-month-old baby, in which case you GIVE THEM AWAY!  Stop back by tomorrow for your chance to win 4 fabulous jewelry packages, including these earrings!
