I recently co-hosted a "Spring Brunch Bridal Shower" at my house for one of my best friends . I wanted to share some of the cheap crafty tricks I used to pull of an elegant party without an elegant budget.
To greet the guests, I wrote a special message on my spring wreath made out of recycled La Croix cans.
Here is what the table looked like:
You might notice the "Spring Chalk Board with Felt Roses" and the "Spring Centerpieces" on the table which I have featured on my blog.
For the gingham table runner I just used some extra fabric I already had, bunched up along the center of the table.
I made the tissue paper pom poms using this Martha Stewart Tutorial.
The signs for the food are just made out of scrapbook paper and labels I printed on my computer.
We made orange blossom mini-muffins, cheese blintzes, petit fours, and the very popular sausage breakfast bars.
We also had Mexican wedding cookies, egg casserole cut into heart-shapes, strawberries, and cheesecake dip.
I made a paper bunting banner with their names (here is a tutorial for making that), and decorated the mantle with more tissue paper pom poms.
While she opened gifts we played bridal shower bingo. I printed these adorable free bingo cards from Snazzle Craft on white card-stock paper.
I think everyone had a wonderful time at the party and I was so glad to be able to do this for my friend!
