Today I will be sharing the Ultimate Guide to Markers!

My boys love drawing with markers.  I love that using markers helps them learn fine motor skills, pre-writing skills, and learn about colors (and they are washable)!

Here's a fun marker craft we made the other day in honor of Valentines day:

Marker-dyed Hearts

First I taped some paper towels to the table and let the boys draw on them with washable markers.

When they were done I wet the paper towels and we watched the colors bleed together beautifully.

When the paper towels dried I glued some white paper hearts on them and then cut out the hearts.

Then I mounted the white hearts on colored paper and used craft scissors to cut around the edges.
